zipless
tsk, those people at the white house are getting a tad prickly.
usually when people contradict them, the bush administration calls them traitors and terrorists and other discourteous things.
now they just say, “shut up!”
During this morning’s press gaggle, Tony Snow told reporters that Bush will use the speech to attack the House plan for Iraq as a “recipe for defeat” that would “provide a victory for the enemy.”
CNN’s Ed Henry told Snow that since he was attacking the House plan, he should explain the Bush administration’s “recipe for success.” According to Henry, Snow “tried to turn it around on me,” asking Henry what his recipe for success was. When Henry objected to Snow’s question, Snow told him to “zip it.”
rhetorical question: if the democratic plan is a recipe for defeat, can we extrapolate that the administration plan is a recipe for epic, cataclysmic disaster?
or did someone simply leave this cake out in the rain?

Wow. I hate that debating technique of, “if our plan sucks, what is your great plan?”. Especially when they ask people like a reporter. He doesn’t come up with policy. He reports the news. I do like he actually almost has a spine there.
